I started Floral Designs by Alka in 2009 as an online silk floral arrangement store — building, photographing, marketing, and shipping every piece myself. Fifteen years of running a small, beautiful business taught me what creators actually need from the digital side of their craft.

Today I bring that lived experience to other handmade and craft-led brands: setting up Shopify and Squarespace stores, running Meta ad campaigns, and helping owners think clearly about catalogs, content, and conversions.

My background in biological sciences (PhD, University of Delhi) and IBM data analysis training keeps the work measured — beautiful, but accountable to the numbers.
